A tropical paradise, Goa has long been an escape for travellers who are looking to leave the dull monotony of life behind and relax for weeks or for months at end in stunning surroundings. Pint-sized Goa is more than just beaches and trance parties. Goa's identity is defined by its beautiful natural environment together with the prevalent Indo-Portuguese and vernacular styles of architecture. A kaleidoscopic blend of Indian and Portuguese cultures, sweetened with sun, sea, sand, seafood and spirituality, there's nowhere in India quite like this vibrant state. It was ranked the - best-placed state by the "Eleventh Finance Commission" for its infrastructure and ranked on top for the best quality of life in India by the National Commission on Population based on the 12 set indicators. Becoming a part of history!

It was a moment of great pride for every Indian when Ahmedabad bagged the World Heritage City status from UNESCO. The 606-year-old walled city founded by emperor Ahmed Shah was declared India’s first World Heritage City on July 8, 2017. And, rightly so we say! The Indian independence movement developed its roots in this city, led by the  Father of our Nation – Mahatma Gandhi who was at the forefront of India’s non-violent freedom struggle. What additionally contributed to this rightly deserved title the city proudly holds today is the exemplary architecture of the intricately carved wooden Havelis dating back hundreds of years!!! Ahmedabad stands unique as a culmination of various architectural styles and a historical relevance that defines its outstanding universal value. The city of Ahmedabad is endowed with a rich architectural heritage that is vital to the local identity and continuity of the place.  BFT is proud to be associated with the city hav...

With a culture so rich & a heritage that dates way back, India has come a long way. Our history states all the ups and downs that our nation has gone through. Yet, it stood this test of time. Still going so strong, still undergoing changes, adapting to the variations of the world! In fact, India is connected somehow to almost every nation of the world through history. Our nation is called a “developing nation” – we say that is a good thing. “Developed” is something that has stopped, whereas “developing” is a continuous process and we will keep moving further! Made in India

The Make in India wave has been taking the country by storm. Patriotism has been at its peak after a very long time with everyone displaying how loyal and inclined they are towards the development and glorification of our motherland. While some are trying to successfully fit in, others are using it as a turf to grow. When Bharat Floorings decided to introduce a collection of tiles inspired by the various regions from India, the sole purpose was to appreciate the rich cultural heritage of our country; because Make in India is a principle we’ve already been following since the pre-independence era. Bharat Floorings in association with Idea Spice Design Studio selected six diverse states with rich cultural heritage spread across India. Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra, all have a significant contribution towards shaping the existing structure of the modern yet traditional Indian society. The first state, Madhya Pradesh, is a large state in ...
